Reef Fishing/Snorkel

Fun for the entire family. Anchor next to the beautiful reef and enjoy catching snappers, groupers, sharks, and barracudas using light conventional tackle, lures, and/or live bait. Then snorkel along the second largest reef in the world.

What you’ll need to bring: Lunch, polarized sunglasses- (brown or amber lenses) long sleeved light colored shirt, Hat, Sunscreen, Snacks, Camera, towel and cash.  All our trips include all fishing gear, pickup and drop off* and refreshments (soda, water and ice). You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverage if you choose. Snorkeling equipment are not included but can be rented at a local dive shop for about $5US a set. (Your guide will arrange that upon pickup) We have several beautiful snorkel areas but only Hol Chan Marine Reserve/Shark Ray Alley charges a park fee to snorkel. If you choose to snorkel there please take cash for tickets. The cost is $10US per person to enter both parks.

*If you are staying between 5 and 7 miles north of San Pedro town please add on transportation. Transportation cost is $25US round trip per boat.

Location

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel dock unless other arrangements are made.  Anchor next to the beautiful barrier reef and fish for snappers, groupers, sharks, and barracudas using spinning rod. You can take your lunch and eat it on the boat. Another option is to go to Caye Caulker, which is a small island south of Ambergris Caye. You can have lunch at one of the local restaurants and do a little gift shopping. This option might not be available depending on where you are staying and where you want to snorkel. Please call or email us to see if this is available for you. Depending on time you will go to 1 or 2 snorkel areas along the Belize Barrier Reef.

This charter is for 8 hours. Cost is for the boat. The boat will take 1 to 4 passengers. 2 extra people can go at an additional charge of $25USD each. Pickup time is at 8AM but can be changed if needed.
