Escape to Croatia for a weekend filled with sunshine, adventure, and unforgettable memories! We’ll depart by bus from Florence on Thursday night and head straight to the beautiful coastal city of Split.

We offer a wide range of activities for your weekend in Croatia, with something for everyone! Soak up the sun on our Split Party Boat as you cruise to the Blue Lagoon with a live DJ onboard. If you’re craving adventure, try zip lining through Omiš or rafting down the Cetina River. Our Long Weekend package also offers a day trip to Dubrovnik. And on the way home, we’ll stop at the breathtaking Krka National Park for an unforgettable waterfall experience.

This tour meets on Thursday after 4:00PM at our accommodation in Split and ends on Sunday. Transportation to Split and transfer from the airport is not included.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival

Get ready to explore the stunning coast of Croatia! Meet Us There passengers should plan their travel to arrive at your accommodation Thursday evening. You will be able to check-in to your accomodation anytime after 4:00PM. Luggage storage will be available if you arrive earlier.


The rest of the group will be traveling by bus through the night and will be arriving Friday morning. You will meet your Bus2alps tour leader at breakfast on Friday morning.

Day 2 - Boat Day

You have all day to explore Split and its surrounding areas. In the afternoon, join us for Split's premier boat party experience (included in your package), including an onboard DJ and two bars offering a variety of drinks. We sail the breathtaking Adriatic Sea, visiting the Blue Lagoon and swimming in crystal clear water.

In the evening head out on the optional pub crawl (additional cost) to experience the best of Split’s bustling nightlife.  Alternatively, the night is free to explore Split's or stroll along the Riva waterfront.

Day 3 - Check out Dubrovnik

On Saturday, take the day to explore another Croatian city! Join us on a day trip wandering the Old Town of Dubrovnik and feel like you are in a scene from Game of Thrones first-hand! If you decide to stay back in Split you can decide to join one of the many activities that were offer on Friday as well or enjoy some relaxing time at the beach in Split. 

If adventure is more your thing, go river rafting trip on the Cetina River or a zip-lining activity through the lush valleys near Omiš.

Saturday night your Trip Leader can provide you with recommendations for dinner or a night out on the town.

Day 4 - Explore Split

Sunday is full of adventure! Sign up for an action-packed day of river rafting the Cetina River or zip-lining through the lush valleys near Omiš (additional cost).

Or, if you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, you can spend the day lounging on one of Split’s beaches, exploring the city center, visiting Diocletian’s Palace, or renting a bike to ride up Marjan Hill.

Day 5 - Check Out

Check-out is at 10:00 am. If your flight departs later in the day, you will be able to store your luggage in the hostel by speaking with reception. Sunday is a free day to visit any of the sites you have yet to check off your list!

The rest of the group and the trip leader will check out and depart Split early to head back to Italy.

River Rafting the Cetina River: Experience an adventurous ride down Croatia’s natural beauty, the Cetina River. Duck through lush overgrown trees expanding over the river and find yourself in large scenic expanses as you rush down the Cetina.
