Plan to arrive to the Geneva Airport by 10:30 PM on Thursday, July 23 to ensure you make the provided transfer to Interlaken.

Book your return flight from the Geneva airport after 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 26 to allow for travel time back to the Geneva airport from Interlaken and ensure you have time to check-in, go through security and arrive at the gate in time for your flight.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1

Your flight should arrive to Geneva Airport by 10:30 PM. Meet your trip leader at the Arrivals Hall of the Geneva Airport by 11:00 PM; please do so immediately after you collect your luggage and pass customs. Travel to Interlaken is by private coach for 3 hours, which will depart at 11:30 PM.

DAY 2

All LeadAbroad Students are offered the exclusive opportunity to be taken on a day trip to the Swiss town of Thun, the departure point for the picturesque and fun rafting float trip that ends in the city of Bern. In order to accommodate the other activities, this will be offered at two different time slots which will be assigned by your 4.0 Tours trip leader.

DAY 3

Saturday is yours to participate in optional activities of your choice. Your personal schedule for the weekend will be based on the activities you choose to do. Activities include Skydiving, Paragliding, Hang Gliding, bungee jumping, hiking, chocolate making, and much, much more! Some activities are weather permitting. We recommend scheduling such activities earlier in your trip, which allows time to reschedule if weather cancellations affect your original booking. Consult your Trip Leader for recommendations and weather updates.
 

DAY 4

Sunday morning we will check out of the accommodation, where you may store your luggage until departure. The morning is then free for you to explore Interlaken or participate in any last activities you wish to experience! We will return to the Geneva Airport by private coach. To be included in the airport transfer to Geneva, please do not book your flights before 18:00 (6:00 PM) back to Rome.

Optional Activities

• Skydiving: Freefall for 45 seconds over the beautiful Swiss Alps from 13,000 feet up. Video and photos available at additional cost.
• Paragliding: Suspend yourself well above the Swiss countryside, held on only by a parachute and your experienced guide helping your steer.
• Hang Gliding: Hang gliding is flying in its purest form. Fast, flat just like you dream. Catch thermals and up-drafts, experience wing-overs, stalls, dives or just a simple easy float over Interlaken. 
• Canyoning: Travel through tall, narrow gorges and get up close and personal with nature. Canyoning trips are filled with high rappels, big jumps, fast slides! 
• White Water Rafting: The mighty Lütschine offers some of the best whitewater rafting in the Swiss Alps. Straight from the start below the Eiger North Face, continuous class III-IV rapids surge down from the mountains and out into the Interlaken valley and the Lake of Brienz.
• Ropes Park: The high ropes course provides an adventure for all skill levels, with six tracks of various difficulty for a fun adventure through nature’s playground.
• Vertical Rush: Your heart rate will be tested against combinations of height, speed, and free fall on our Giant Swing, Highline, Speed Line, and BASE jump Simulator. 
• Jet Boat Ride: Take a seat in Switzerland's first commercial Jet-Boat! We offer a great mix of Fun, a turquoise blue lake, breathtaking landscapes, and impressive waterfalls! 
• Canyon Swing: Pure adrenaline in the Glacier Gorge in Grindelwald! Attached to an 85-meter rope, you jump into the narrow Glacier Gorge. After a 50m free Fall, you swing with up to 120kph through the impressive canyon. 
• Stockhorn Bungy:  Enjoy the rush of a lifetime, leaping and freefalling towards the pristine mountain lake Stocksee!
• Downhill Gravity Scooter: Enjoy an exhilarating downhill ride on our purpose built Gravity Scooters! These stable and safe scooters have front suspension and disc brakes and look like a downhill mountain bike, but anyone with basic biking skills can participate.
