St. Lucia Bike and Hike

Explore St. Lucia's scenic east coast as you bike your way through lush forest trails. Complete your day with a short walk to the spectacular Sault Falls for a swim in its natural pool.

Gear up for a scenic, 2-wheeled adventure across one of the Windward Islands. After a short bus ride, meet at the welcome center deep in the forest to gear up, mount your bike, and begin the journey.

As your guide takes you along the island's east coast, learn about St. Lucia's tumultuous history. The island is often called "Helen of the West Indies"— a reference to the beautiful Helen of Troy— because France and Britain contended so frequently to win it back. Make your way to the fishing town of Dennery, where you park your bike and set off on foot.

Follow a trail down to the Dennery River and hear the rushing water of the Sault Falls. Enjoy one of St. Lucia's most scenic waterfalls and cool off with a swim in the natural pool that forms beneath the cascade. Have a snack and a refreshing drink before boarding the bus that takes you back to your hotel.
