Choose the Mountain ATV Route
 

Take control of your ATV and follow your professional guide into the mountain and forest surroundings of Congo Canopy. Ride along winding trails, rustic backroads and rural countryside while exploring areas away from the main roads. The route includes small river crossings, adding changing terrain to your ATV experience. During the rainy season, the mountain route may also include a seasonal waterfall, depending on current conditions. Wildlife may occasionally be seen naturally along the way, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
 

Choose the Beach ATV Route
 

Prefer ocean views? Choose the Beach Route and follow your guide along the backroads and countryside leading toward the Zapotal and Matapalo beach area. Enjoy beautiful views of Guanacaste's Pacific coastline while exploring the rural landscapes surrounding the beaches.
 

Important: ATVs are not permitted to ride on the beach or sand. The tour approaches the coastal area using permitted roads and trails, allowing you to see and enjoy views of the beaches and Pacific Ocean without riding the ATV directly on the sand. The experience is about combining an ATV adventure with the beautiful coastal scenery that makes this part of Guanacaste so special.
 

Professional Guided ATV Adventure
 

Whichever route you choose, your professional guide will lead the way and provide the necessary riding instructions and ATV safety equipment before departure. ATV drivers must be at least 16 years old, and a passenger option is available. The maximum combined weight for two people sharing an ATV is 800 lbs.

MOUNTAIN ROUTE. Follow your guide into the mountain and forest surroundings of Guanacaste. Ride along winding trails, backroads and rural countryside while experiencing changing terrain and small river crossings. During the rainy season, you may also encounter a seasonal waterfall, depending on current conditions.
 

OR — BEACH ROUTE
 

Head toward Guanacaste's Pacific coast using permitted backroads and trails leading toward the Zapotal and Matapalo beach area. Enjoy beautiful coastal scenery and views of the Pacific as you explore the countryside surrounding the beaches.
 

PLEASE NOTE: NO ATV RIDING ON THE BEACH

ATVs are not permitted on the beach or sand. The Beach Route travels along permitted roads and trails near the coastline so you can see the beaches and enjoy beautiful Pacific views without riding directly on the sand.
