Montserrat is not only famous for its natural beauty, its fame is also due to the Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat, which houses the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Montserrat, stands right on the slopes of the mountain and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Detailed Itinerary

The trip departs Barcelona from the Plaça Catalunya in front of the Hard Rock Caffe at 8:00 am. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Montserrat is by private coach.

Once you arrive to the Montserrat, you will be given time to visit the Monastery on your own and take as many photos as you'd like. Once the visit is done, you will head back onto the coach and go back to Barcelona. During the trip, you will stop for lunch at a vinyard. Here you'll have the chance to tour the vinyard, taste 3 different wines while enjoying a wonderful tapas lunch!

After lunch, you will be taken back to Barcelona by private coach.
