Coastal Kayak Tour from Kalvåg | 3 Hours

Explore the coast from a kayak: look at the fish swimming in the crystal clear water below you, experience the rush of mastering your kayak. Maybe you will even spot an eagle or a seal?

This tour starts in the charming fisherman village Kalvåg, worth a visit in itself. You will paddle between the colourful wooden houses (rorbuer), and out into the archipelago. The water is crystal clear, a nice contrast with the white sand of the many small beaches of the surrounding islands. Get mesmerized by the waving leaves of the kelp forest in the water under your kayak. Your guide will share interesting knowledge about the history of the famous herring fishery era of Kalvåg, and the flora and fauna in the area.

Bremanger is a hidden gem, off the beaten path. It is also called ‘Little Lofoten’ and that is not hard to understand. Here you can enjoy untouched nature, without meeting herds of other tourists.

This tour is easy and does not require any experience. It is suited for both adults and children (age 10 years and up). The guide will do a short technical and safety instruction before departure and will make sure you have a safe and fun tour.
