Madakhel Canyon

This is a shorter version of The Twisted Maze; you will go through the narrow canyon. Wet or dry, we don't stop, it has a different flavor each time. The challenge level is high but lots of fun climbing through the narrow canyon walls.
 

The start point is a 1 hour drive each way. In Winter months, some sections of the canyon will have deep pools of rainwater that reach up to the waist line or above. The group may have to pass through the water pools so please bring a change of clothes with you.

  • In some sections, the trip requires you to pass through deep pools of rainwater that reach up to the waist line or beyond.

  • We recommend dressing in comfortable hiking attire and ankle support hiking boots. Husaak will provide you with a helment and harness.
  • Please pack a change of clothes to wear after submerging into pools of water
  • Not suitable for children under 12
  • Canyoning requires physical fitness and stamina
  • Canyoning clothes and boots will not be provided
  • Not recommended for those with fear of small spaces or heights

Please be mindful of booking other activities if the estimated return time overlaps with the Madakel experience. The tour will not wait for you and if you do not make it on time you will be marked as a no show and lose your ticket. There is no rescheduling or refunding.

We require a minimum of 4 pax to run each experience. If the trip does not reach the minimum number, you will be offered a different time or alternate activity. However, if this does not suit you, you will be refunded the amount.You can view Husaak's terms, conditions and cancelaton policy here.

6:30 AM - Meet at Husaak Center AlUla
6:45 AM – Departure from Husaak Center AlUla
7:45 AM - Arrive and start hike
1:30 PM - Finish the hike
2:30 PM - Arrive back at Husaak Center AlUla
