Oman National Holiday Camping
Experience sunset in Wahiba Sands and tuck in to a grill dinner. Relax around the campfire and sleep in a tent or under the stars. The next morning, after a warm breakfast the group will drive 45 minutes to Wadi Hawer.
This impressive raw wadi is less commercialized than its down steam counterpart (Wadi Bani Khalid) and boasts running waterfalls, vast and vibrant blue freshwater pools. The total journey time is 5 hours over big boulders, swimming through large wadi pools and sliding down natural waterslides. This is considered easy to moderate but requires a good physical fitness level and endurance.

1.30 pm - Meet at Husaak Center Muscat
2 pm - Set off to Wahiba Sands
5 pm - Arrive and set up camp
7 pm - Grill Dinner
Sunday 28th Nov -
6 am - Wake up, eat breakfast and pack up camp
7 am - Depart for Wadi Hawer
8 am - Arrive and set off through canyon
12 noon - Packed lunch
1:30 pm - Arrive back at the vehicles and set off for Muscat
4:30 pm - Drop off at Husaak Center Muscat
1.30 pm - Meet at Husaak Center Muscat
2 pm - Set off to Wahiba Sands
5 pm - Arrive and set up camp
7 pm - Grill Dinner

6 am - Wake up, eat breakfast and pack up camp
7 am - Depart for Wadi Hawer
8 am - Arrive and set off through canyon
