The name “Eyaru” is an ancient heliographic name that reflects the idea of what is paradise like for the pharaohs, the afterlife for pharaohs where they live in the Eyaru fields. When Eyaru was in the designing phase, it took its inspiration from the idea of Eyaru. Everything on Eyaru was inspired and customized according to the “Eyaru” concept. During your visits to the local markets, you can even buy fresh ingredients for your dinner that night or buy some fish and fire up the grills on the sundeck! You will get to live the Egyptian experience to its fullest. There is also the possibility to attend live cooking sessions of your dinner and learn local recipes that you can try when you get back home.

Eyaru can be enjoyed all year round and that due to Eyaru’s premier feature, its pergola. The pergola closes off on part of the sundeck by glass. So, there is no need to stay indoor during the cold months and miss the picturesque scenery of the Nile during your stay. That’s why Eyaru is the only Dahabiya that sail from Luxor to Aswan and vice versa.

Eyaru has no motors; it gets dragged by a tugboat from a distance, so you never feel any disturbing sounds or vibrations during your trip. And for the first time on the Nile, the staff of Eyaru stays at night on the tugboat, so you enjoy complete privacy on board.

6 Days Aida Dahabiya Nile Cruise from Luxor



Day 1: Arrival at Luxor

Ancient Egypt Tours representative will meet and greet you at Luxor airport or train station and then you will be transferred by a private A/C vehicle to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation in Luxor before Lunch.

Visit The Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, which is serious of temples built in different reigns. Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with it's 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board and Belly Dance show.

Overnight aboard your Nile cruise in Aswan.

Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing & Sailing to Esna

- Breakfast on Board then Tours The West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Excursion to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties, The Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch on board.Sail to Esna. Afternoon, Tea. Disco Party.

Day 3: Edfu Temple Tour & Sail to Al-Ramady Island

Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. the second largest temple after Karnak. Which was known in Greco-Roman times as Apollonopolis Magna, The temple was dedicated to the falcon God Horus and was built during the Ptolemaic period. Continue sailing towards Al-Ramady Island.

Day 5: Aswan Tour & Check-out

Breakfast on board and Sail to Aswan arrival Aswan then visit to the High Dam, An engineering miracle was constructed between 1960 and 1970. It aimed to increase economic production by further regulating the annual river flooding and providing storage of water for agriculture, and later, to generate hydroelectricity. The dam has had a significant impact on the economy and culture of Egypt, and then move to the Unfinished Obelisk, This obelisk is believed to belong to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan, Egypt. It is unknown which pharaoh created this structure. It is nearly one third larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 42 m and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons. Then move to the beautiful located Temple of Philae on Isis Island and the Granite Quarries, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner on board

Day One: Welcome On Board & Luxor East BankTour
Our representative will transfer you from any place you are in Luxor to meet your tour guide who will arrange the best tour for you in Luxor’s East Bank and your tour will start with a visit to the largest and the most fascinating time in the world “Karnak Temple“. After enjoying your tour so much and know all about the history of that complex, you will head to your adorable 5* luxury Aida Dahabiya Nile cruise to check-in and have your marvelous lunch meal in an open buffet. In the evening, you will visit the great Luxor Temple at night. At the end of your tour, you will get back to your Nile cruise to have your dinner meal and overnight the board of your 5* Aida Dababiya cruise.

Day Two: Luxor West Bank Tour & Sail to Esna
Your delicious breakfast will be served on the board of your cruise before you head with your exceptional tour guide to visit some of the most interesting sightseeing in Luxor’s West Bank and among those sites, you will visit The Valley of the Kings. Then you will visit the wonderful twin statues of Memnon and the site is called Colossi of Memnon. After that, you will visit the great temple of Hatshepsut. You will have your lunch meal on board and the Dahabiya will start its sailing to Esna. Dinner meal will be served on the edge of the Nile and you will overnight near Esna on the board of your cruise.

Day Three: Edfu Temple Tour & Sail to Al-Ramady Island
Dahabiya Aida Nile cruise will proceed its sailing towards Edfu and when it arrives, you will get the chance to visit the splendid temple of Edfu which was built during the Ptolemaic Kingdom. Then, you will be transferred back to the Dahabiya Aida to have your lunch and sail to Al-Ramady Island. You will enjoy the sunset while being on the board of the Dahabiya while having your tea and then dinner. Finally, you will overnight on board.

Day Four: Sail towards Aswan
You will have your breakfast while your cruise is sailing to El-Sheikh Fadl Island. You will enjoy the gorgeous view of the longest river in the world from the sun deck of your cruise. You will continue sailing towards Aswan and at night, you will attend the Nubian party through which you will enjoy the most while attending some dances that represent the traditional Egyptian culture. You will spend the night in Aswan.

Day Five: Aswan Attraction Tour
After having your breakfast, you will visit with your tour guide the most visited & recommended sites in Aswan including the High Dam, Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk. Your lunch will be served on the board of your Nile cruise and you will enjoy the rest of the day to relax on the sun deck and look at the birds & the Egyptian sites. Day Six: Kom Ombo Temple Tour & Sail to Al-Ramady Island
Your cruise will start its sailing towards Kom Ombo and upon its arrival; you will head to visit the unique temple of Kom Ombo. When you finish your tour, you will get back to your cruise to have your lunch, enjoy the amazing view and proceed the sailing to Al-Ramady Island. Dinner will be served on the Dahabiya’s board and you will overnight on your cabin.

Day Seven: Sailing Back to Luxor
While having your breakfast, your cruise will sail to get back Luxor and you will enjoy the rest of the day with the beautiful Egyptian weather and scenery. Your lunch meal will be served and you will have your tea in the afternoon. You will spend the night in Luxor.

Day Eight: Check-out & End Your 8 Days Dahabiya Aida Nile Cruise
Your breakfast meal will be served in the early morning and you will check-out your Nile cruise so that we transfer you at any destination you would like to head to while being in Luxor.
