La Cangreja Waterfall Volcano Hike

Enjoy the way to the beautiful La Cangreja Waterfall in the National Park. It is a 5km walk inside the park to reach the waterfall. Along the trail you can see white-faced, howler and spider monkeys, coatis, armadillos, agoutis, iguanas and birds such as the Bobo bird or the Emerald tucancillo. The 40 meter high bubbling white water flow comes from the green forest forming a blue pool of the cleanest water at its base. Copper minerals dissolved in the water give the pool this blue color that makes you feel like you're swimming in the sky.
