BASE TORRES HIKE

Hike the most well-known path in Torres del Paine National Park and reach the most famous (and closest) viewpoint of the incredible and wonderful Paine Towers. Enjoy the feeling of being at a unique place in the world.

We arrive at Torres del Paine National Park through Laguna Amarga entrance gate and drive to Hosteria Las Torres (Welcome Center area). From here, we start the hike up into the Valle de Ascencio. We enter a dense lenga forested area that brings us up to the moraine ascending towards the Paine Towers viewpoint, at 890 m.a.s.l (2,950 ft). We then return along the same path to Hosteria Las Torres where the bus awaits and we drive back to Puerto Natales.

Difficulty: Moderate-high (total trekking distance: 23 kms / 14.9 miles round trip).
