Young Adventurers Club- Jebel Shams
This camp adventure will take the youth away from the comofrt of their homes into nature, all while being in a controlled enivronment under 24/7 supervision of our outdoor education experts. As they go through difference experiences over the 4 days, they will face their feers, push their limits and learn more about history and culture, all while developing a sense of independance and becoming aware of their civic duties.
The trip shapes the youth in a fun yet challenging way as they are deprived of the luxuries in their life, electronics and other distractions, while fully engaging with the outdoors allowing them to bloom into leaders of the future.

Location
Sunday – Drive to Jebal Shams, 1 hour each way IMAX hike, arrive & set up camp
Monday – Balcony Walk hike & treasure hunt, nighttime walk to look for nocturnal animals
Tuesday – Abseil lesson & 50m abseil practice, campfire cooking competition
Wednesday – Breakfast, review, pack up camp and return to Muscat via Al Hamra ruins or misfat
Wednesday – Breakfast, kayaking, trip review, packed up camp & drop off at Muscat Airport
Packing List– The Essentials: Hiking shoes/trainers (preferably with ankle support), day rucksack, microfibre towel, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, headlights (with spare batteries), and reusable insulated water bottle (2l)
Nice to Have: Hat, sunglasses, lip balm and sunscreen, bug spray/ repellent, camera / gopro with chargers, extra batteries, toiletries, fresh clothes, sandals / flipflops for the camp and waterproof mobile phone case.
