Windsor and Runnymede Day Tour

On this tour you will visit the historic town of Windsor, home to the oldest continuosly occupied castle in the world. As well as visiting the castle and town you will also get to see Runnymede where  King John signed Magna Carta.  Magna Carta was issued in June 1215 and was the first document to put into writing the principle that the king and his government was not above the law.

You will be collected from your cental London location and transferred directly to Windsor. The first stop will be the castle where you will get to visit the interior state appartments and St. George's Chapel. After this you will have the opportunity to visit the town and have lunch in one of the many pubs or restaurants. After viewing the long walk with stunning views of the park and castle you will get to visit Runnymede meadow where Magna Carta was signed by King John in 1215. Finally you will be transferred back to your central London residence.
