Taiq Sinhkhole & Cave

Identified in 1997, this 90 million cu metre–sinkhole is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Elliptical in shape, it has a depth of 250m and is part of a vast limestone complex deep in the hills above the Salalah Plain.
You can reach the bottom of the sinkhole via a steep path from the southern side, but if you approach the sinkhole from the main road, there is no way to reach the bottom other than abseiling from the edge. 

The start of the trail is a 20 minute drive from SAMA Jabal Samhan Hotel.

Pick up/drop off available for an additional fee, please select this add on at check out. Pickup time is 1.5 to 1 hour before the tour starts. The guide will call or WhatsApp you 24 hours prior to confirm the exact pick up time.
