Location
Starting in Tahrir square, your guide starts out by telling you about the history of the neighborhood you're about to explore and what to expect on the tour. As you hop from one stop to the next, you will get a sense of local life, learn the history, and meet the friendly locals preparing and serving your food.
You'll be trying everything from Egypt's national dish, Koshari, to Falafel's tastier version, Taamiya. You'll even go behind the scenes in a 1925 coffee roastery and get to taste Arabic coffee while learning its story.
You'll end the tour on a high note on the rooftop bar of a vintage hotel tucked away within a vibrant fruit market. Your guide will then help you find your ride back to your hotel and send you off with a list of all the foods you ate on your tour
