Transfer from Kotor, Budva, and Podgorica to Theth (Theth National Park in Albania) takes 4-6 hours depending on the departure city and waiting time at the border crossing. This service is not exclusive to our guests; anyone can book a spot. We organize transfers daily, provided that a minimum group of 4 passengers is met. If the minimum group size is not reached, customers will have the option to take a private transfer. If they prefer not to do this, cancellation will be free of charge, and they can choose to take the public bus instead. Montenegro Hostel Travel Agency (a.k.a MH Travel Agency) has been organizing transfers for 15 years and has successfully transported a large number of satisfied passengers. Please note that all transfers (both private and shared) must be completed during the day, as our agency does not offer night transfers. Welcome!
Transfer from Kotor to Theth lasts for up to 6 hours (distance 190 km)
Transfer from Budva to Theth lasts for up to 5 hours (distance 170 km)
Transfer from Podgorica to Theth lasts for up to 4 hours (distance 100 km)
We cross the border crossing Bozaj(MNE)/ Hani i Hotit (AL) and will arrive according to the itinerary. This border has two parts Montenegrin and Albanian with 200 meters of distance Sometimes in the very high season (especially at weekends), the traffic through Albania can be intense, so we might delay a little bit. There are no public buses from Montenegro to Theth, especially big buses cannot go there (the road is too narrow and steep). The distance from the border to the village is not long (70 km), but we have to drive slowly, especially when passing two vehicles on more dangerous parts of the road.
The village of Theth is located in the heart of the Albanian Alps National Park. The road to it is panoramic with several spectacular view points. The driver will stop at these places. Guests who want a transfer from Theth to Kotor, Budva, or Podgorica can do so on request. In a very high season, the traffic jams at the border and through Albania can cause delays of more than 2 hours For these reasons, our agency carefully monitors the situation at the border and if the waiting is more than 2 hours, the start of the transfer is moved by 2 hours in advance.
Guests who book a private transfer (door to door) can depart any time they want up to 13:00 (1 PM).

The price of the private transfer is per car, or minivan, not per person.
We do not operate dropping guests at their address in Theth for passengers who book a shared transfer.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When guests make an online reservation, the card will be charged automatically only if a minimum group of 4 passengers is reached. If not achieved, the card will only be authorized.
The price of a car transfer is fixed (no discount for children), except in the case of group transfers.
Be aware that guests very often book the transfer tickets up to the very last minute (14-16 hours before departure) which means that the minimum number of passengers can be reached at that time.
When the transfer is confirmed guests will get the online ticket and a very detailed e-mail with all instructions about the departure point, type of vehicle, name of the driver, phone numbers, etc.
Guests don't need to print the tickets, they just need to keep them on their phones and show them to the driver.
