WHEN AND WHERE WILL WE START?

We will meet in front of the Old Town of Budva, next to the Port, at the scheduled time listed on our website. Departure time changes every month according to sunset.

NOTE: The temperature in the summer season can be very high, so pay attention to protecting your body with adequate clothes, skin with sun cream, and head with a hat. Always have enough water. 
 

WHERE WE WILL GO?

After boarding, we will see Mogren and Jaz Beach, Trsteno Bay, Ploce Beach, Platamuni Park of Nature, The St. Nicola Church on the cliff, and Krekavica Cave (the sunset point).

 

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

For our sunset boat rides, we will use popular Pasara tourist boats. These boats can be either wooden or made of fiberglass, with a minimum length of 8 meters. The smallest group size is up to 6 persons, the maximum size is up to 11 persons. For larger groups, we use bigger tourist boats with a maximum capacity of 40 guests per boat.

WHAT THIS TOUR LOOKS LIKE?
This is not a guided tour. The skipper will provide you with basic information about the places you will see. We will start our journey slowly from the Port of Budva, driving around the old town, passing Mogren Beach and the attractive cliffs towards Jaz Beach.

On the other side, you will have a fantastic view of the island of St. Nicholas, with its rocks and hidden beaches. This is the largest island in Montenegro, named after the small 16th-century Catholic church located on the island. In this part of the drive, the sea is often very calm in the afternoon, providing the best shots for lovers of good photography. 

Next, we will see the 1200-meter-long Jaz Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Budva. After Jaz, guests will see the sandy Blue Laguna Trsteno and the last one on that side of the Bay of Budva is the popular Ploce Beach, at which end is located the lighthouse. This is the Platamuni Cape, the beginning of the Platamuni Park of Nature. The ride up to this point lasts 30 minutes (3.5 nautical miles).

The protection of this region since 2021, which covers about a thousand hectares, provides conditions for the survival and long-term protection of a large number of animal and plant species, as well as their habitats. In a few minutes of easy drive, you will see a small white Orthodox church of Saint Nicholas (1.5m x 2.5m) that can fit a maximum of 3 people (3,75 square meters). This is one of the smallest churches in Montenegro, and one of the smallest in the world. Its position on the 20-meter-high cliff makes the whole scene unbeatable.  

According to tradition, the church was built by an unknown Greek, after he escaped from a storm at sea and found salvation on those cliffs. The original church crashed in the earthquake in 1979. The new church was rebuilt in 2003. In less than 10 minutes of the boat ride, we will be close to our final destination, the cave "Velika Krekavica". It is difficult to pronounce, so we can call it The Small Blue Cave because part of the cave has cobalt blue water.

The cave is 35 meters deep, with colorful walls, and is popular for underwater photography enthusiasts. Here we will take a break to swim and wait for the sunset. The photos you will take will be fantastic because there will be nothing in front of you while the sun dips into the sea. This part of the coast between Budva and Kotor is the least visited by tourists and is rarely crowded even in the peak season.

Although the cave is our final destination because the sea is calm and there are no sea currents, guests can, if they wish, watch the sunset from the cliff where the church of St. Nicholas is located. Alternatively, they can go to Krekavica Beach right next to the cave. This option is only possible if we go on smaller boats (up to 12 people on one boat).

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the sunset as you relax with a glass of wine, soothing music, and a refreshing swim. Experience the breathtaking moment when the sun dips into the sea, followed by a leisurely return journey, taking in the stunning red and orange hues of the Platamuni cliffs.

NOTE: In the case of large waves, or stormy or windy weather,  the tour will be canceled and the ticket prices refunded free of charge.

TOUR CONDITIONS 

The tour is organized by middle-class speed boats. The price of the private tour is per boat, not per person. The private tour costs 150 euros (for a maximum of 6 people), 200 euros (for a maximum of 8 people), and 300 euros (for a maximum of 11 people). A private tour can depart any day.

PRICE INCLUDES

Skipper and the boat ride of 2 hours.
 

THE PRICE DOESN'T INCLUDE

Food or drink on the boat.

THINGS TO NOTE

When guests make an online reservation, the card will be charged automatically only if a minimum group of 6 passengers is reached. If not achieved, the card will only be authorized.

If the minimum number of passengers is not found up to 12 hours before departure, the reservation is automatically canceled free of charge. 

After confirmation of an online reservation, guests will get the online ticket and a very detailed e-mail with all instructions about the meeting point, the skipper's name, phone numbers, etc.

Guests don't need to print the tickets, they need to keep them on their phones and show them to the skipper.

Be aware that in the summer season, the sun can be very intense, so take care of your skin and health. During the speedboat ride, it is not recommended to walk on the boat. Boats are fully protected for a safe ride, according to the law. All skippers are licensed.
