WHEN AND WHERE WILL WE START?

We will meet in front of the Old Town of Kotor, next to the Port, at the scheduled time listed on our website. Departure time changes every month according to sunset.

NOTE: The temperature in the summer season can be very high, so pay attention to protecting your body with adequate clothes, skin with sun cream, and head with a hat. Always have enough water. 
 

WHERE WE WILL GO?

After boarding, we will visit the Lady of The Rocks, and we'll see Perast, Miriste Bay, Marija de Sagnic Island with the church, Fort Arza, Island Mamula, and the Blue Cave (the sunset point).

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

Safe and nice ride by our boats: Sea Ray (maximum capacity 8 persons), The Active 555 Open (maximum capacity 8 persons), The Utern s 64 (maximum capacity 12 persons), and The Monterey 720 (maximum capacity 8 persons). For a bigger group, we have a speed boat of 25 seats.

WHAT THIS TOUR LOOKS LIKE?
This is not a guided tour. The skipper will tell you basic information about the places that you will visit and the speed ride will start, with an average speed of 25 nautical miles per hour (appx 40 km/hour).

We will start from the port of Kotor according to the schedule (which is displayed on our itinerary) and go toward Verige, the exit/entrance of Kotor Bay. That ride lasts 20 minutes and guests will see from the left side of the bay Bokelian places Muo, Prcanj, and Stoliv, and on the right side of the bay places Dobrota, Ljuta, Orahovac, and Perast.

At the end of the picturesque line of traditional houses in Kotor Bay, we will see beautiful Perast, a small town with 200 inhabitants, which is UNESCO World Heritage. Our first visit will be to the famous island-church Lady of the Rock. Guests will be able to visit this man-made island with the lovely baroque church from the 17th century, as well as a small church museum with artifacts from Roman imperial up to nowadays. The island is less than one nautical mile from Perast.

Visit Perast is not in the itinerary for this tour, only the visit to the Lady of The Rocks, where we will stay for 20 minutes. In the late afternoon hours, the church shouldn't be very busy, and the island will not be very crowded. The sunset colors on Perast and the church's blue cupola will be a challenge for photography lovers. After the visit, we will go toward Tivat Bay and see the luxury resorts Porto Montenegro on the left side, and Porto Novi on the right side. The next bay will be Herceg Novi Bay, where we will go to the attractive Mirista Bay.

Mirista Bay is located at the entrance of the Boka Bay. This spot is geographically very important, and highly protected in the past. Numerous forts surround the place. Some of the most attractive forts are the island Mamula (ex-fort, and now is a luxury hotel), and Fort Arza. On the opposite side, guests can see Fort Prevlaka (now located in the territory of Croatia). Also here guests can see a small island where is located the Orthodox Church Marija de Sagnic, from the 16th century.

In addition, Mirista Bay has the beautiful pebble beach of Žanjic, as well as several outstanding fish restaurants, apartments, and a few smaller hotels. It is a very popular place for tourists, especially from Herceg Novi. Since none of the mentioned attractions (forts and church) are open to tourists on short day trips, we will go around them by boat to take great photographs, and then we will head towards The Blue Cave.

The Blue Cave is a hidden gem of the Luštica peninsula and overlooks the open sea in the direction of Croatia. During the day, this place is full of tourists and crowds can disturb the complete atmosphere of the cave. Since we are arriving at sunset time, the cave will be empty or very little visited, which will give us peace of mind for the magnificent scene we will observe. Guests who wish can swim in the cave.

At the moment when the sun starts to set, we will be able to observe it inside the cave where the sea is much calmer and the possibility for good photography is therefore greater. The rays of the sun will be into the cave so that at some point the cobalt blue color will be purple, and the rocks will get gold and orange tones. The cave inside will look spectacular.

The sunset lasts about ten minutes. In front of us, the sun will disappear on the sea horizon, illuminating the entire area of the Luštica peninsula with golden tones. After we took photos of the sunset and enjoyed it, especially because of the peace and tranquility at the end of the day, we will head back. Until we enter Herceg Novi Bay, we will be accompanied by golden tones everywhere.

During our final stage of the ride, darkness will slowly fall on the bay, and the lights will come on. By the time you enter Kotor Bay, it will be dark and you will be able to see the bay at night from the sea, and as the biggest attraction, the illuminated walls of the old town of Kotor. Maybe in high season you will skip dinner when you return, but this tour is worth much more, so if you need to eat, take some snacks with you, because there is no food or drink service on the speedboats.

We will return to the Port of Kotor from where we started. Guests who take the private tour will be picked up closest to their accommodation location and returned there.

NOTE: In the case of large waves, or stormy or windy weather,  the tour will be canceled and the ticket prices refunded free of charge.

TOUR CONDITIONS 

The tour is organized by middle-class speed boats. The price of the private tour is per boat, not per person. The private tour costs 240 euros (maximum 6 people on the boat)​​​​​. We give a discount for groups of more than 10 people. Private tours can depart any day.

PRICE INCLUDES

Bottles of water on the boat.
 

THE PRICE DOESN'T INCLUDE

The entrance fee to the church's museum is 2 euros.
 

THINGS TO NOTE

When guests make an online reservation, the card will be charged automatically only if a minimum group of 6 passengers is reached. If not achieved, the card will only be authorized.

If the minimum number of passengers is not found up to 12 hours before departure, the reservation is automatically canceled free of charge. 

After confirmation of an online reservation, guests will get the online ticket and a very detailed e-mail with all instructions about the meeting point, the skipper's name, phone numbers, etc.

Guests don't need to print the tickets, they need to keep them on their phones and show them to the skipper.

Be aware that in the summer season, the sun can be very intense, so take care of your skin and health. During the speedboat ride, it is not recommended to walk on the boat. Boats are fully protected for a safe ride, according to the law. All skippers are licensed.
