Day 1

Day 1: Arrival

Welcome to the land of the Pharaohs. Our representative will meet and assist you at Cairo international Airport, then handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area and customs’ formalities at ease. Then move to your Cairo hotel.


Day 2

Day 2: Egyptian museum & Giza pyramids

Explore the great attractions in Cairo and visit the Giza pyramids and Egyptian museum. It is the dream of everyone; the pyramids are on top of the bucket list of millions of people all over the world. Our company will bring your dream to reality. Listen to your guide talking about the Egyptian Pharaohs, gods, goddesses and mythology and mummification. Your private Egyptologist guide will be happy to answer all your questions and explain all the history and the mystery of the pyramids. Learn about the process of mummification; Follow your guide steps to visit the Sphinx and the valley temple. Enjoy an interesting excursion to the Egyptian museum. You will be captivated by the most famous and largest art collection in the world. The treasures found in king Tut Ankh Amun tomb are the top attractions among the exhibits. Your private live guide will explain the highlights and give you the chance to have some private free time to explore more of the museum and you may like to visit the royal mummy. Transfer to Giza station to board sleepers' train to Luxor. (Approx. 9 hours)


 

Day 3

Day 3: Luxor ( Queen Hatshepsut & Colossi of Memnon )

Upon arrival at Luxor station, you will meet your Egyptologist guide You will see all the great attractions of Luxor. On the West side of the Nile, The Valley of the Kings, and the mortuary temple of queen Hatshbsut and the colossi of Memnon are located. Start with the kings’ valley; your guide will explain the most important stories of the place with his recommendation of the best tombs to visit. Next, explore the mortuary temple of queen Hatshbsut. Your guide will explain the history of the temple before giving you free time to explore the temple yourself and spend some time taking pictures of the highlights. Finally, stop at the colossi of Memnon. Then on returning to the east bank, you will visit Karnak temple and Luxor temple.


 

Day 4

Day 4: Aswan ( Philae temple & High dam )

Leave the hotel in Luxor and travel in a train to Aswan. Enjoy a tour of the highlights of Aswan. Your first stop will be at the temple of Philae. Philae temple is a picturesque landmark in Aswan. The temple that was dedicated to goddess Isis, is reached through a short motorboat ride. Then, visit the High dam in Aswan. The dam built between 1960- 1970. It provided the country with water storage for farming and development. Explore the granite quarry and the unfinished obelisk. Finally, go on a sailboat to the elephantine island. Overnight in Aswan


 

Day 5

Day 5: Abu Simbel

After meeting your guide at the hotel, the drive to Abu Simbel is about 4 hours in the early morning. The village e known as Abu Simbel in Aswan has the two massive rock temples of Ramses II .Never miss the Chance if you have enough time to visit this great archeological site. A drive of 4 hours from Aswan and you will explore the big temple of Ramses II dedicated to Ra Hr Akhty. The smaller temple of his wife Nefertari was for Hathor. The temples are carved from the mountainside 1200 B.C. Enjoy the visit with your Egyptologist guide who will explain the history and relocation of the temple as well as the victory of the king in Kadesh battle. Enjoy the history of the two temples and the stories on the wall reliefs with your private tour guide. After the end of the tour, you will be back to Aswan train station.

Day 6

Day 6: Back to Cairo

Back to Cairo, transfer to Cairo hotel.

Day 7

Day 7: Alexandria

Spend a wonderful day in the beautiful coastal city of Alexandria. The drive from Cairo to Alexandria is about 3 hours through the desert road. Once you get to the city, you will start with the Catacombs. This Roman Subterranean tomb goes back to the 1st century A.D. It shows the great influence of the Egyptian mythology and burial customs over the Romans. Descend 75 feet to see the impressive mixture of both Egyptian and Roman art. After going through the maze and complicated plan of the tomb go upstairs and take a breeze of the Mediterranean when visiting the Fort of Qaitbay. The fort was built on the island of Pharos where the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria used to stand. Atop of the fort, enjoy the view of the blue sea and the city of Alexandria. Finally, the modern library of Alexandria is a revival of the ancient one built by Ptolmey I. Explore the different exhibits and the recent technologies in that great center of culture and knowledge. Before driving back to Cairo, do not forget to have fresh seafood for lunch (upon your request). This is the best type of food you can have there.

Day 8

Day 8: Departure

Final departure and fend of service
