Day 1Welcome to Cairo, Egypt

Upon arrival in Cairo, our YET representative and driver will wait to transfer you to your luxury hotel.

Day 3Egyptian Museum, Islamic & Coptic Cairo

Embark on a captivating journey through the enchanting city of Cairo, where you'll explore its most renowned attractions. Our first stop is the legendary Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of over 65,000 ancient artifacts, including the most treasured relics of the famed King Tutankhamun. Your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will lead you through the museum's most significant pieces, offering insights into Ancient Egypt's rich history and culture.

Next, we'll ascend to the summit of the magnificent Citadel of Salah el-Din, situated atop a picturesque limestone hill overlooking the city. You will see the true gem of Islamic architecture the Alabaster Mosque.

Then, our journey continues with a spiritual adventure to explore the ancient sites and culture of Coptic Christians.

Day 4Luxor (Luxury Nile Cruise, Karnak temple & Luxor Temple)

Embark on a luxurious adventure with a flight from Cairo to Luxor in the morning. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to a 5-star luxury Nile cruise ship that will serve as your floating hotel for the next five days.

The cruise will take you on an exciting journey to various stops and site visits, including the most impressive monuments from the time of the Pharaohs.

Your first day's itinerary will include a visit to the renowned Karnak Temple, the world's largest temple complex. Explore the intricacies of each legacy left by the pharaohs as the complex grew over time. With the guidance of your expert guide, you will travel back in time as you delve deeper into the complex.

Next, you will head to the Luxor Temple. The temple is dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II and has withstood centuries of Nile floods, foreign invasion, and exposure to the elements. Your guide will enlighten you about the temple's history and how Alexander the Great wrote himself into it.

Day 5The Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut & The Colossi of Memnon

Indulge in a luxurious breakfast on the Nile Cruise before embarking on a magnificent Luxor Day Tour to explore the west bank of Luxor.

We will cross the Nile on a motorboat and witness the beauty of the Valley of the Kings, one of Egypt's most prized treasures. This royal cemetery has been the resting place for 62 pharaohs, and we will have the privilege of visiting some of the most renowned tombs, including King Tutankhamun's tomb.

Next, we will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This temple is a true wonder of ancient Egyptian architecture and is among the most unique temples in Egypt. It was constructed by Queen Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh to rule Egypt from 1473 to 1458 BC.

As our day tour ends, we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3400 years.

Day 6Edfu & Kom Ombo Temple

After a delicious breakfast, our luxurious Nile cruise ship will take us on a scenic journey to Edfu, where we will explore the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. The Edfu Temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic period between 240 and 57 BC.

As we return to our Nile Cruise, we will continue our cruise towards Kom Ombo. We will arrive in the late afternoon at Kom Ombo Temple, which was built during the reign of King Ptolemy V (ca. 205 to 180 BC) to worship two gods - Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god.

After our excursion, we will return to our luxurious Nile Cruise for a delicious dinner and then set sail towards the south.

Day 7Aswan (High Dam, Temple of Philae & Nubian Museum)

Day 8Abu Simbel and Head to Cairo

Step into a world of luxury as you disembark from your opulent Nile cruise and proceed to the airport for your flight to the stunning Abu Simbel. This awe-inspiring site is home to two colossal rock temples, namely the Great Temple of Ramses II and the smaller Temple of Hathor, located in Nubia.

The twin temples were originally chiseled out of the mountainside during the 13th century BC, in the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II, as a lasting legacy to himself and his queen Nefertari, to celebrate his supposed triumph at the Battle of Kadesh and to intimidate his Nubian rivals. In a remarkable feat of engineering, the complex was relocated entirely in 1968, onto an artificial hill fashioned from a domed structure, towering above the Aswan High Dam reservoir. This monumental undertaking was necessary to preserve the temples from being submerged by the vast man-made Lake Nasser, created after the construction of the Aswan High Dam on the majestic Nile River.

Abu Simbel is undoubtedly one of Egypt's most captivating tourist attractions, and with the guidance of YET qualified Egyptologist, you will enjoy a personalized and exclusive visit to these magnificent temples.
