First you explore the south coast, which consists of various types of erosive stone, all in a yellow-orange-red colour range contrasting beautifully with the blue Atlantic and the year-round greenery. The constant sea and rain erosion creates intrinsic rock formations and caves.
You start this day trip with a one-hour boat trip to the caves, including Benagil before it gets too crowded. You have the opportunity to swim at one of the beaches or to just enjoy the view with a fresh drink in hand.
Last, but not least, you drive to Cape St. Vincent, the so-called End of the World and an absolute must when in the Algarve! Here, you have free time to take in the stunning views and feel the Atlantic breeze one more time, before heading back to your accommodation.
