This weekend trip takes you to explore the Western Hajar mountains of Oman, starting off with a visit to Jebel Akhdar. Known for its lush terraced farms and dramatic cliffside views, you can explore traditional villages and enjoy the cool, fresh air, after which you will head to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak, for a more challenging trek along the famous balcony walk. Day 1
1:00 PM - Meet at the Husaak Center

2:00 PM - Welcome & Trip Briefing

Set off for a scenic 2 ½-hour drive to Jebel Akhdar, where you'll set up camp in the heart of the mountains.
 

Day 2
Start the day with a warm breakfast 

A short 45-minute drive takes us to Sayq, where you'll embark on a stunning hike through the three picturesque villages.

Afterwards, drive Jebel Shams, stopping for a delicious local lunch en route.

As the sun sets, enjoy breathtaking hike along the rim of Wadi Ghul.

Day 3
After breakfast, head to the hidden gem of Wadi Dham to swim in crystal-clear turquoise pools.

Reflect on the adventure during a trip review before beginign your return to Muscat.
