Day 1: Say Hello to Cairo

You will arrive at the Cairo International Airport for your 5 day tour of Cairo and you will enjoy VIP service all the way. On arrival you’ll be met by your tour manager and you will be driven to your hotel in style. After you have checked in, your tour manager will go over your itinerary, answer your questions, and confirm pick-up times for your upcoming Cairo adventures.

Day 2: Touring Giza Pyramids and Saqqara Necropolis

You will have time to enjoy a peaceful breakfast before your guide arrives to show you around the pyramids of Cairo. You will enjoy a private guided tour of Giza Plateau, which is home to spectacular pyramids of Mykerinus, Chefren, and Cheops. Your adventure will also take you to the Valley Temple and the Sphinx.

Your day’s adventure will wrap up at the Sakkara Necropolis, where you will find the Djoser Pyramid. This is the first pyramid ever created in this region.

After an enjoyable visit to the Sakkara Complex, you will return to your hotel where you will be spending the night.

Day 3: Cairo Discovery Tour

Day 3 of your 5 day tour of Cairo begins with another enjoyable breakfast in the hotel, and then you will be guided through a personal tour of the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Pay special attention to the Treasures Room, home to the vast amount of treasures recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamen. You will discover a thousands of ancient artifacts throughout the museum.

You will enjoy lunch in an authentic Egyptian restaurant before a tour of some amazing churches, including the Hanging Church.

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar will be your final destination for this day’s adventure. You will have the opportunity to shop while taking in a spectacular show of Egyptian culture.

After a wonderful day out, you will be driven back to your hotel where you will once again be spending the night.

Day 4: Optional Tour of Alexandria

Day 4 of your 5 day tour of Cairo begins with another good breakfast. Today, you have the option of enjoying a free day in Cairo or joining our highly esteemed optional tour to Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt.

During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit Qaitbay Citadel, one of the most significant defensive fortresses along the coast of not only Egypt but also the Mediterranean Sea. It was constructed in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the very site where Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse once stood. Afterward, we will proceed to the renowned Alexandria Library, a modern and highly acclaimed institution. Additionally, we will explore the Catacombs, a Roman cemetery intricately carved into the rock.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 5: Depart from Cairo

Your 5 day tour of Cairo might only have lasted for five days but you will have experienced 5000 years of history, and you’ll be leaving with memories that could last five million years.
