On foot or by bike with IF. The Cardello estate: discovering a precious historical and naturalistic landscape.
Il Cardello di Casola Valsenio was the last home of the writer Alfredo Oriani who died here in 1909. It is surrounded by an estate and a lush park. The quarries adorned with large pines and majestic cypresses, the ancient olive trees, the farmhouses: walking here is like entering a page full of signs impressed by the hand of man in a close dialogue with a still intact nature. After the walk we will enjoy a tasty picnic on the Cardello lawn, to conclude with a guided tour of the House Museum.
