Extreme: Umq Bir

Umq Bir isn’t just a canyon — it’s a rite of passage. Hidden deep in the rugged heart of Oman, on the remote backside of Wadi Tiwi, this is one of the longest and most grueling canyoning routes in the country.

Spanning over 9 km of relentless terrain, this journey will push your limits as you swim through icy pools, scramble over boulders, climb jagged rock faces, and descend narrow gorges for a continuous 14 to 18 hours of raw, unfiltered adventure.

This is not for the faint-hearted — it's a difficult-level expedition, designed only for those in excellent physical condition with solid mental endurance.

If you’re searching for the edge of your comfort zone, you’ll find it here.
