Join Husaak on The Spiderweb, an uncharted descent through one of the most dramatic landscapes in all of AlUla. Starting high on the volcanic lands of Al Harra, you’ll drop into a spiderweb of canyons so tight and colorful they feel otherworldly. Expect raw wilderness, towering walls, plunging pools, and the heart-pounding rush of abseiling into the unknown.

With 28 kilometers of grueling hiking, canyoning, and three vertical drops, this is a test of strength, endurance, and spirit. Only those prepared for one of the toughest adventures in Saudi Arabia should attempt it. For those who dare, the reward is stepping into a world almost untouched by humankind.

Nice to Have: Lip balm and sunscreen, bug spray/ repellent, camera / gopro with chargers, extra batteries, toiletries, fresh clothes, sandals / flipflops for the camp and waterproof phone case.

Location

Day 1 Thursday – Arrival & Into the Wild

• 4:00 PM – Meet at the Husaak Center in AlUla for your trip briefing and safety orientation.

• 5:00 PM – Depart AlUla and journey deep into the desert toward Wadi Disa, where the silence of the canyons awaits.

• 8:00 PM – Arrive at camp surrounded by towering cliffs and starry skies.

• 8:30 PM – Dinner under the desert night, a final moment of calm before the storm.

• 10:00 PM – Camp goes silent. Early rest is essential for the challenge ahead.

Day 2 Friday – The Spiderweb Descent

• 5:00 AM – Wake up, quick breakfast, and final gear check.

• 6:00 AM – Embark on a rugged 4x4 ride, splashing through deep water pools to reach the hidden start point.

• 7:00 AM – Begin the descent. The day will push you to your limits:

  • Navigate 28 km of relentless terrain narrow canyons, sharp rock, and unforgiving landscapes.

  • Face three technical abseils, lowering yourself into vertical drops carved by millennia of water.

  • Experience the spiderweb: a network of twisting, colorful slot canyons, unlike anything else in Arabia.

• 4:00 – 8:00 PM – Depending on group speed, emerge from the Spiderweb as the sun sets over Wadi Disa. The sense of accomplishment is indescribable.

• 8:00 PM – Dinner at camp. A well-earned feast before collapsing into a hard-earned sleep.

Day 3 Saturday – Reflection & Return

• 7:00 AM – Wake up to a quiet breakfast in camp, legs sore but spirit alive.

• 8:00 AM – Gather for a trip review and share stories of the canyon that only a handful of people in the world have seen.

• 9:00 AM – Depart Wadi Disa, retracing your journey back to AlUla.

• 12:00 PM – Arrive at the Husaak Center. Hot showers, farewells, and the pride of conquering one of the most extreme adventures in Saudi Arabia.
