Using the Winch Route, you'll be safely lowered 158 meters into this extraordinary underground world without the need for abseiling or technical rope skills. Walk across the vast cave floor, admire towering rock walls, and witness dramatic shafts of natural light in one of the world's most remarkable cave systems.
 

Combined with wild camping on the remote Selmah Plateau, a relaxing coastal campsite near Fins Beach, and a visit to the famous Bimmah Sinkhole, this adventure offers the perfect blend of exploration, wilderness, and Oman’s most spectacular natural landscapes.
 

Suitable for all fitness levels, the Winch Route requires no previous climbing or caving experience, making it the easiest and most accessible way to experience the wonders of Majlis Al Jinn.

Day 2 – The Great Descent

  • Wake up and enjoy breakfast at camp
  • Transfer to the entrance of Majlis Al Jinn
  • Safety briefing and gear fitting
  • Experience the spectacular 158m winch descent into the cave
  • Explore the vast cave floor and admire its immense scale
  • Learn about the cave’s geology, history, and significance
  • Capture unforgettable photos in one of the world's most remarkable underground locations
  • Ascend back to the surface via the winch system
  • Packed lunch
  • Drive to Fins Beach
  • Set up camp and enjoy a relaxing evening by the coast

Day 3 – Coastal Relaxation & Return

  • Breakfast at camp
  • Enjoy time swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing by the sea
  • Pack up camp and depart towards Bimmah Sinkhole
  • Explore one of Oman’s most famous natural wonders
  • Begin the journey back to Muscat
  • Arrive at Husaak Center at approximately 3:00 PM
