Packing List
The Essentials: • Hiking boots with good ankle support, Thick wool socks, Microfibre towel, Headlamp (with spare batteries), Canyoning clothing (dry-fit leggings or shorts and a quick-dry t-shirt), Sandals for camp, Hat and sunglasses, Reusable insulated water bottle (2L), Wetsuit the water in the canyon will be cold.

Nice to Have: Gloves, Lip balm and sunscreen, Bug spray/repellent, Camera / GoPro with chargers and extra batteries, Toiletries and fresh clothes, Waterproof mobile phone case.

Location

Day 1 – Into the Mountains

  • Begin with a 1:00 PM meet-up at the Husaak Center, followed by a briefing before driving through the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Bani Awf. If time allows, stop at the beautiful village of Bilad Sayt with its terraced farms and traditional houses. Spend the evening at a local Guesthouse, enjoying dinner and a peaceful mountain night.

Day 2 – Through Snake Canyon

  • After breakfast, head Snake Canyon for a 3–4 hour canyoning adventure filled with turquoise pools, natural slides, and narrow rock passages a fun and beginner-friendly experience for all levels. In the afternoon, transfer to a cozy mountain guesthouse for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3 – Blossoms of Wakan

  • After breakfast, explore Wakan Village, known for its terraced farms, panoramic views, and apricot blossoms in spring. Enjoy a gentle walk through the village before returning to Muscat at 11:00 AM, arriving at the Husaak Center around 1:00 PM.
