Famous for its White Wine, the world renowned Vernaccia, and its Towers, symbol, in the Middle Ages,  of the power of its well-off families.This town is still today  noted mainly for its 13th century towers that  dominate the skyline.

08. 45 (8.45am) :  Meeting at Tuscanmagic Travel Agency in Cortona  with the Tour-Leader

Departure for the Fd ‘ SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANO  TOUR’…

Arrival in SIENA at around 10.30  am.  Guided Tour of the town in a group, for about 2 hours 
We will visit the main palaces and sights of the town, ending our visit at Piazza del Campo.
We will indulge in one of Italy's most beautiful cities. An expert guide will give us an insider's view of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed town. We will linger  around Piazza del Campo, the superlative square that is home to the Palio, a wild horse race that takes place every July and August.
We will stroll the streets with our guide,  learning about the history of the place. Visit the Duomo, Siena's stunning cathedral, and stroll right in thanks to our skip-the-line ticket. 
At the end of the guided tour we will have some free time for lunch-and shopping
 

14.30 (2.30pm) Departure to SAN GIMIGNANO, stopping for a picture near the wonderful medieval town of Monteriggioni. Arrival at around 15.30 (3.30pm) Free time to visit the town. Before departure back to Cortona, we will stop in a local bar to taste some typical  bruschette, salumi  and a glass of Venaccia of san Gimignano

17.00 (5.00pm) : Departure back to Cortona. Arrival at around 18.30(6.30pm)
