Classic whitewater rafting in Sjoa - Day trip PlayRun

The classic in Sjoa and the tour that has made rafting popular and well-known in Norway! The activity is suitable for most swimming-capable individuals, whether it is your first or tenth rafting trip. This tour offers something for every water level and is largely tailored to the participants' wishes. We raft approximately 16 km on the middle part of Sjoa - through Heidal. The tour varies at different water levels with big waves and more speed at higher water, and more technical, narrower rafting at lower water. Our experienced and friendly guides safely take you down the rapids with lots of fun and excitement along the way. There will be rafting through all the famous rapids such as Microsurf, Golf Stream, Haystacks, Chocolate Canyon, ByeByeBaby, Faukstad Drop, Seven Sisters, and the Irish Trashcan. Halfway through, we take a break where we light a fire and serve hot stew, salad, and bread at our lunch spot by the riverbank. At lower water levels, we finish with the legendary "Washing Machine." Afterwards, there will be a hot shower and coffee/tea and juice in the Grill hut at the base.

• At 09:45: Arrival and check-in.
• At 10:00: Meeting for the day trip rafting in Sjoa. Information and changing into river gear.
• Around 10:30: Shared transportation with our bus up to the starting point.
• Around 10:45: Arrival at starting point. Safety and paddle instruction. 16 km rafting on the middle part of Sjoa, the tour that has made rafting popular and well-known in Norway. Underway we take a break where we serve warm lunch.
• Around 14:15: Pick up from the river. Short busride back to base. Shower and change, we serve coffee, tea and juice.
• Around 15:00: You are ready to leave us. Or if you desire, we offer afternoon activities such as bridge swing and Via Ferrata. Customers get 10% off on second activity.
