Day 1
8:00 am: Your guide for the Mekong Delta Tour will meet you at your hotel lobby and escort you by car to the boat waiting at Saigon Water Bus Station.
8:15 am: Departure from the pier marks the beginning of your journey away from downtown Saigon through the intricate network of canals, immersing you in the lush greenery of the Mekong Delta. Indulge in a light morning meal featuring sandwiches or pastries, along with fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca phe sua da), while your guide shares insights into local rural customs and riverbank life.
9:30 am: Arrive at the picturesque expanse of the Mekong Delta, famously known as the Delta of Nine Dragons due to its nine branching tributaries from the main Mekong River. Navigate through the charming narrow canals of the Thu Thua area, shaded by a verdant canopy, offering a leisurely and serene experience.
10:30 am: Explore a vibrant riverside market bustling with local treasures, exotic fruits, and an array of seafood, offering excellent opportunities for memorable photographs.
10:45 am: Embark on a serene rowboat excursion through the enchanting canals of the Delta, enveloped by countless coconut palms. Take a stroll along the riverbanks to witness the daily life of a traditional rural Vietnamese household spanning three generations.
12:30 pm: Delight in a traditional Mekong Delta lunch hosted by a local family. Following the meal, visit a unique pagoda serving not only as a spiritual center but also as a compassionate orphanage managed by Buddhist monks..
1:30 pm: Explore the vibrant hues and intricate architecture of a Cao Dai Temple, a captivating highlight of the Mekong Delta Tour.
2:00 pm: Car from The Island Lodge will pickup and transfer you to the resort.
3:20 pm: Arrive at the boutique hotel The Island Lodge. Relax by the river, chill at the pool or take a bike ride on the peaceful alleys of the Unicorn Island full of shady fruit trees.
In the evening enjoy a French dinner prepared by the chef from the Island Lodge.

Day 2
7:30 am: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a captivating journey to explore the picturesque Mekong Delta.
8:45 am: Begin your adventure with an exhilarating bicycle ride from the Lodge, meandering through charming pathways towards the south bank of Unicorn Island. Here, a traditional boat awaits to ferry you across the serene waters, transporting you to the enchanting Ben Tre Province, known as the coconut kingdom.
9:15 am: Pedal through lush landscapes, stopping first to visit the cocoa farm of Mr. Ba, where you’ll discover the secrets of cocoa cultivation and perhaps indulge in the rich flavors of freshly harvested cocoa. Continue your exploration with a visit to a hidden pagoda nestled within the verdant coconut groves, immersing yourself in the tranquil ambiance and timeless beauty of this sacred site.
11:00 am: Return to the hotel.
12:00 pm: Treat yourself to a delectable Vietnamese lunch, savoring the authentic flavors and culinary delights of the region.
3:00 pm: Bid farewell to the Mekong Delta as you check out from the Lodge and embark on a comfortable journey back to Ho Chi Minh City by car.
5:00 pm: Arrive back in Saigon, where the Island Lodge staff will warmly escort you to your hotel, concluding a journey filled with unforgettable memories and cultural discoveries.
