Discover the Mediterranean flavors of Santorini, visit two wineries and sample the famous local wines. Take part in a cooking class in a traditional Santorini restaurant and savor the fruits of your labor on your private tour!

Location

Begin your Santorini cooking class and wine-tasting tour with a hotel pickup, and then relax on the mountainside on volcanic soil. Producing some of Santorini's renowned volcanic wine, the vineyard relies on mineral-rich aspa (the region's unique soil), which helps create a wine with crisp notes and distinctive high acidity.

After sampling some of the wine, continue to your second traditional Santorini winery to learn more about the various types of Santorini wine that are produced on the island.
Meet the chef - your cooking teacher - and then roll up your sleeves to help out with the preparation of several traditional Greek dishes. As you cook, listen to stories about the country's gastronomy from your chef and learn about the typical dishes of Santorini. While the dishes you cook during your class will vary each time, you can expect to prepare some Santorini staples, such as tomato fritters, alongside Greek classics, perhaps moussaka or a Greek salad.
Towards the end of your session, sit down with your chef to eat your creations! Water is served alongside the dishes, and you can also try a popular liquor - raki or ouzo - to finish your meal just like the locals.
Before bidding your chef a fond farewell, take a recipe card to recreate the dishes at home. Then, return to your minibus and finish your Santorini food experience with a hotel drop-off.

Cruise passenger pick-up

All cruise passengers with individual programs are taken to the old Port of Fira by tender boats. From the port, you will take the cable car to Fira town.
The journey with a cable car takes 3 minutes and costs €10. Approximate start of the tour should be 1-1,5 hours after the scheduled arrival of the cruise ship.

The meeting point for the tour is the cable car exit upper station in Fira town. Your guide will wait for you there, holding a sign with your name.
