WHEN AND WHERE WILL WE START?

The tour starts from the port of Kotor after guests pass border control. Departure time depends on the docking time of the cruise ship. We organize the tours for the guests from the cruise ship, which will arrive in the Port of Kotor from 8:00 to 10:00. Guests just need to inform us of which cruise ship they will be coming from, and the tour will start according to the guests' arrival time.

NOTE: The temperature in the summer season can be very high, above 35 degrees, so pay attention to protect your body with adequate clothes, skin with sun cream, and head with a hat. Always have enough water. 
 

WHERE WILL WE GO?

We will go to the Old Town of Budva, Perast, Lady of the Rock, and the Old Town of Kotor

KOTOR

After passing the border control, guests will go down to the elevator and go up in front of the old town of Kotor. The distance is only 100 meters. The tour guide will wait for the guests and then they will have a one-hour city tour and get information about the town's rich history and its squares, streets, churches, historical buildings, and gates like Square of Arms, Bizanti Palace, Beskuca Palace, Pima Palace, St Tryphon Cathedral, Maritime Museum, St Nicholas Church, Blessed Osanna Church, the Sea Gate, and the North Gate.

Kotor old town has been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage since 1979, mostly thanks to its impressive city walls St. Giovanni. The city walls and fortifications were built above the old town of Kotor on the rocky slopes of the Lovcen mountain from the 9th to the 19th of century. To reach the top guests need to climb almost 1500 steps (45 minutes of intense climbing), which is not easy during the summer heat. Most guests climb up to the small chapel of St. Giovanni where they can take impressively beautiful photos of the Kotor panorama.

After the city tour, the Kotor guide will lead the guests to the vehicle, after which they will head towards the cable car and Budva via the Trojica mountain pass.

CABLE CAR FROM KOTOR TO MT.LOVCEN

Trojica Pass is a scenic road where we will make a photo stop above the Bay of Kotor. The old town of Kotor is located hidden at the end of Boka Bay, surrounded by two mountains Lovcen and Vrmac, which give it exceptional uniqueness. Everyone who visits Kotor is left breathless due to the beauty and splendid surroundings of this city. After 10 minutes of the photo stop, we will descend a few kilometers to the cable car. 

The location of Dub terminal is within Grbaljsko polje, 20 km from Budva and 10 km from Tivat. The upper location of the cable car terminal is on the Kuk plateau on the Lovćen mountain, at 1,348 meters above sea level. The height difference between the starting and ending stations will be 1316 meters. The cable car is about 4 km long. Its capacity is 1,000 passengers per hour. The cable car is served by 48 gondolas. Travel time from Dub station to Kuk station is 11 minutes. 

This part of the tour is not obligatory. Guests can take a cable car ride if they wish. Those who are not interested in taking the ride can enjoy an excellent coffee bar and pastry shop on the terrace of the terminal building. The ride in both directions and with a photo stop at the top of the mountain takes approximately 45 minutes. Sometimes clouds make the view not crystal clear on the top, but during the ride, the view of the Bay will be visible, especially in the summer. After the Cable Car ride the guests continue the short journey to the old town of Budva.

BUDVA

In the last 15 years, Budva has experienced a construction expansion, unlike Kotor, and has many modern hotels and residential buildings. The municipality of Budva has over 40 beaches, which is why summer vacations here are very popular. The Old Town of Budva is smaller than that of Kotor, but it is very beautiful and is surrounded by beaches, which gives it a special uniqueness. 

Guests will get a guided tour of the old town and learn about its impressive history from ancient times to the present day. The old town of Budva was founded 2500 years ago. In front of the city walls, there is the town square and two beaches on the south and west sides. St John’s Cathedral is the highest building in the old town among numerous traditional stone houses and the Citadel viewpoint.

The town has a special atmosphere that is always a little glamorous. Budva is the fastest developing town on the coast, with a special blend of modern and traditional tourism. It is also the center of fun and great nightlife. After the city tour, guests will be driven to the port of Kotor.
 

TOUR CONDITIONS 

Shared tour costs €60 per person for a minimum group of 4 guests. The tour is organized by middle-class air-conditioned cars or minivans. The price of the private tour is per car, not per person. The maximum number of guests in the car is 4. 

Private tour costs €240 (max. 4 pax)

We give a discount for groups of more than 10 people.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

When guests make an online reservation, the card will be charged automatically only if a minimum group of 4 passengers is reached. If not achieved, the card will only be authorized.
 

When the tour is confirmed, guests will get the online ticket and a very detailed e-mail with all instructions about the departure point, type of vehicle, name of the driver and guide, phone numbers, etc. Guests don't need to print the tickets, they just need to keep them on their phones and show them to the driver or guide.
