RYA Junior Sailing Stage 1

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of learning to sail your own boat for the first time. On our beautiful Cotswold Water Park lake, your child will gain the confidence and skills to take control of a dinghy, with plenty of hands-on time on the water – all under the guidance of our friendly, fully qualified RYA Sailing Instructors.

What They’ll Learn:

  • How to rig, launch, and sail a dinghy safely in light winds.

  • Key sailing skills: steering, tacking, and basic sail control.

  • Essential knots and safety techniques.

  • How to work as part of a sailing crew.
